One of our short film, 31.12.2009, recently won the Best Music Score Award at the Panasonic Digital Film Fiesta 2010. (Although sound design would be a better term as we did not really use an original song composition per se). But nevertheless, we were quite exciting about the SGD$1,000 voucher that was the prize.

As we pondered about what to get using the money, one of us, who shall renamed unnamed for now, took a look at the voucher and said, “Don’t worry, vouchers like these last for a year.”

The realisation came after Darren re-read the letter one day on 7 April 2010 and found out that the voucher is now past its date. The unnamed personnel frantically called a few places up to see if they could extend the validity, to no avail of course.

Too much trust in the studio man!
