This film tells the story of a patient suffering from locked-in syndrome – a condition where the patient is fully conscious but suffers from complete paralysis.

This film was inspired by a real-life story of a patient who was found to be conscious all the time while doctors believed him to be in a coma for the past 23 years. It was intially conceptualised to participate in Nikon’s “A day in the life of…” Festival. Unfortunately, festival guidelines only permitted US residents to participate; we went ahead to shoot the film anyway.
