Since early this year, we have been involved with the One Dream Initiative, and have produced a music video for their song-artiste Ling Kai, as well as documenting some of their ongoing activities. On Monday, we went down for a presentation session, where the students groups are invited to present their project in order to raise funds for it through the One Dream Initiative. They had 15 mins to convince the panel of judges, which consists of professionals from multi-national companies to civil servants working in community-related government agencies. Their proposals range from green initiatives, to providing food for the needy, to improving reading habits of the young and promoting the local female football scene. Eventually, a total sum of $40,000 were given to eight teams, who now have one year to complete their dream project.

it's been a while since our last post, and for the past month, we've been working hard on a project that's brought us to places - an isolated stretch of highway in the wee hours of the morning and deep inside parks in full length gear - while meeting seven individuals who are passionate, committed, dynamic, caring, inspiring, creative and visionary. more details coming up soon!
