毕业后就创业:年轻不怕输 五名大学生念大学时不是深交,毕业后也各自发展,但对多媒体的热爱,让他们最终在MSN谈妥要一起创立多媒体公司。 这就是Little Red Ants Creative Studio的由来。创始人分别是郑智元、陈泽华、岑康立、王一凤和傅彦钊。 当时彦钊还在一个跨国企业里当管理培训计划的见习生(management trainee),工作了三个月就辞职,放弃的是3500元的月薪,还有预计每年1200元的加薪。老板们纷纷挽留他,但他还是选择离开。 彦钊说:“我们还年轻,现在失败,总好过十年后才失败。”老板问他,何不先累积经验才去创业?他的回答是“如果做久一点,薪水升了,就不想走了。” 五人之前都曾在媒体业当过特约员工,并非毫无经验就入行。只是,他们很快便碰到困难。 申请资金碰到障碍 五人决定申请标新局的青年企业家起步公司计划(YES!Startups)*的资金,数目多达五万元。但计划书一直被批没独特卖点(unique selling point)。泽华说,感觉对方要资助的是提供创新产品的公司,而不是提供服务的公司。“对方说我们没卖点,但他们或许没意识到创意不局限于具体的产品,而是能通过其他方面去传达。” 彦钊认为,如果对方真的觉得他们的计划不好,可以给一些建设性的建议,或提议他们去申请别的资金。“一味的否决只会让年轻企业家沮丧。” 申请资金的过程耗了四个月,最后大伙决定自己集资创业。虽然遇到了障碍,但泽华认为,这件事让他们更有动力去搞好公司。 轮流到家里办工 五人从储蓄中凑足三万元买录影和摄影器材后,2009年10月开始营业。首五六个月里,他们轮流到彼此的家办工。有多一点钱后,他们才租下现在位于如切(Joo Chiat)的办公室。 康立说:“我们一开始就每个人都领薪水,因为这样大家才有动力出去赚钱,对父母也有一个交待。” 最初每人一个月领1200元的薪水,现在领的“则能和同辈的人媲美”。 泽华说,初期为了招生意,他们“什么都做”,包括设计横幅(banner)、采访、修改图片、将照片印在杯子上等等。 半年后,他们回本了。公司目前有约11人,包括合约员工和特约员工。 对于毕业后直接创业,泽华认为,别人一开始可能看你年轻,不敢将重任托付于你,但在他们这一行里,履历(portfolio)比年龄更重要。“有更多作品后,人们看的是作品,不是年龄。” 报道:洪慧敏 Full article here
