In the last 50 years, we have seen much developments around us. Change is never easy to get used to, and uncertainty is never comfortable. The story parallels Nancy and Richard’s journey to the social and economic development of Singapore respectively. Richard, a Jurong Port employee, began life with polio. It didn't inhibit him, but instead, pushed him to disregard his disability to lead a full life. Nancy, a community leader, overcame unfamiliarity and trepidation, as she moved from kampong to HDB, to find joy and fulfilment with her new neighbours. This film was produced for the "Progress" segment of the National Day Parade 2015.
